Country heartthrob Gary Allan who’s been on the road most of the year, has stretched his ongoing tour through next May.
The singer is scheduled to wrap his 2008 itinerary next week, and then head into 2009 with more than a dozen US performances, launching Jan. 30 in Bossier City, LA. Since last check, he’s added seven more stops, including Atlantic City; Cleveland; Biloxi, MS; and Virginia Beach, VA. Gigs include the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

The recent installment of the ASCAP Writers Series featured hit tunesmiths Odie Blackmon and Gary Allan as hosts of the session. The quarterly workshop held at the ASCAP Nashville offices is designed to assist developing songwriters with their craft and the music business.
