A MEMORABLE PRESENTATION AT THE 2006 CMA AWARDS
Gary presented with actress Kimberly Williams Paisley at the 2006 CMA Music Awards. Kimberly, who's expecting her first child with Brad Paisley in February, apologized for having to rely on co-presenter Gary Allan to read the teleprompter saying her pregnancy had an unfortunate effect on her sight. After Allan praised the musicians in the Vocal Group category Williams-Paisely quipped "I married one of them and now I'm knocked up and blind."
Sounds like the start of a good country song.

NASHVILLE – Stars of TV and music will shine on “The 40th Annual CMA Awards” when the three-hour gala airs live on the ABC Television Network, Monday, Nov. 6 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville.
Presenting trophies will be Gary Allan, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, and the stars of ABC and Disney television including Billy Ray Cyrus and daughter Miley Cyrus (“Hannah Montana”); James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”); Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”); Cameron Mathison (“All My Children”); and Kimberly Williams-Paisley “According to Jim”).
Gary threw a private concert in Nashville January 6th for his Official Fan Club members to kick off CMA Music Fest Week. Fan Club members from all over the world came to enjoy this private performance. One special fan that makes many of Gary's guitars came all the way from Australia!
