By BEVERLY KEEL Gary Allan opens for Keith Urban on Friday at Sommet Center, and he has nothing but praise for the Australian headliner. “He is a class act,” Gary says. “We’ve gotten along so well. It’s the best tour I’ve been on, just as far as how I’ve been treated. There are no insecurities — ‘Hey, don’t use this stuff of mine.’ He is letting us do whatever we want.”

 

Californian singer/songwriter and country rocker, GARY ALLAN, is heading back to Oz in March for his fourth Australian Tour. Currently touring America with Keith Urban, ALLAN has just released his eighth new album, LIVING HARD, which is riding high on both the US & Australian charts.

 

Exhilarated crowds have followed three-time CMA nominee Keith Urban from Germany to the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and parts of the United States. Now Urban’s World Tour will take the recently nominated Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, through America with concert dates slated well into the fall. The North American leg of the tour, which originally kicked off on June 8th in Phoenix, has now had an additional twenty cities added. This second leg of the “Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour” will continue in Columbus, Ohio after its last “summer performances” in Edmonton, Alberta on September 21st and 22nd.
